Nature walks in the Salse di Nirano Nature ReserveThere are nine walks through the Salse di Nirano Nature Reserve, open to all and clearly signposted, and four educational itineraries, designed for activities for schools and families, with illustrative notice-boards. Several paths are also suitable for the disabled and the visually impaired. One is also a cycle path and another is suitable for horse-riding. |

The Mud VolcanoesA breath-taking journey that runs for over 60 km and crosses six towns (Fiorano Modenese, Maranello, Sassuolo, Scandiano, Castellarano, Viano) and two provinces, touching over 50 points of interest, including towns, historical dwellings, archaeological sites and natural and environmental beauty spots. All places linked by the mud volcanoes, known as the 'salse'. A free app with guide and maps is also available.
